President's Message

Dear Members and Friends of the Carolinas Chapter of SCI:

I am very excited to announce the 2011 Awards Banquet and Fundraiser for the Carolinas Chapter of SCI. In doing so, I invite you to join us for an evening of fellowship and fun with both old and new friends as we celebrate our achievements of the past and look forward to our future adventures with great anticipation!

On behalf of the CCSCI Board of Directors and the Awards Banquet & Fundraiser Committee, I would like to provide a little background and further detail. We will return this year to one of the finest locations in the Carolinas – The Myers Park Country Club. In case you have not had the good fortune to enjoy an event at this outstanding location, allow me to simply say that this is a premiere country club well known for the high quality of their cuisine, service and attention to every detail. It truly is a genuine treat and honor to hold our event at such a wonderful venue.

The event will include an open bar throughout the evening and appetizers prior to a "sit-down" dinner of filet mignon, salmon, vegetables, bread & dessert. We will hold a silent auction followed by a live auction. Additionally, we will offer raffle tickets for sale for a variety of opportunities. While we are finishing our dinner and dessert, we will begin the Awards Banquet which will feature recognition for hunting achievements in 2009 and 2010.

We are making every effort possible to ensure that this event will provide an evening of enjoyment for all those who attend. Candidly, we would also like to raise as much as possible since the proceeds will be used to further humanitarian needs, educational opportunities and conservation causes within the local community, as well as the international community.

Please consider a Gold, Silver or Bronze Sponsorship as those sponsorships will help offset the cost of the discounted ticket prices & will raise additional funds for the causes mentioned above.
